Acer is the first among major PC manufacturers which officially presented a model based on the Nvidia platform Ion. That computer is a nettop called AspireRevo which in very small dimensions provides enough power to become home multimedia center and an excellent HTPC computer. Nvidia GeForce 9400M integrated graphics provides a moderate play, while an HDMI output offers the possibility of connection to HD screens.
From Hardware side, AspireRevo offer similar equipment as other devices in this class: Intel Atom processor 230/330, up to 4 GB of DDR2 memory and up to 250 GB of disk space or the optional SSD. Beside that, AspireRevo has a wireless network (802.11 b / g, draft n option), gigabit Ethernet, Esat connector, six USB connectors, VGA output and a memory card reader.
The exact start date for starting sales is not known, nor the price that is expected to be somewhere in range of $300.
